Spooky Trees: Using pencil, I drew out sketches of a landscape with trees, then with paint, I added colors and a feeling to it (as well as details). The main point of this was to show us how to make landscapes, and how to give feelings to paintings. The main art techniques used here are lines, values, shapes, form, and space. The main design techniques used are scale, harmony, unity, balance, and contrast. This was also a fun project to do, and it was a great way to experiment with how colors add a mood to a piece of art, and messing with different colors of paint.

Block Prints: Using pencil, I drew out a design, and then carved it out onto a block. Then, using ink, I used the block to print the design to other pieces of paper. The main point of this was to teach us how to print our designs with ink. The main art techniques used are lines, shapes, and form. Meanwhile, the main design techniques are proportion, scale, and harmony. I enjoyed this project, and though it was fun to make something with Snoopy. :D
Pen And Ink Drawing: Using a pen and some ink, I took a picture of a plant with large leaves, and attempted to draw it. The main point of this assignment was to get us to learn how to use a pen and ink, and how to shade using lines. The main art techniques used here are lines, values, shapes, and space. The main design techniques used are balance, proportion, and scale. This honestly wasn't my favorite assignment. I didn't hate it in any way, but it was definitely more difficult for me, since this was one my first attempts at drawing with a pen and ink.
